As our 4th graders prepare for their final weeks at Romona and look ahead to Highcrest, we are excited to celebrate this special milestone with meaningful traditions, fun events, and a few heartfelt surprises. This page is your one-stop guide for everything families need to know, including deadlines, to-do items, and important upcoming dates.

Highcrest Parent Input Form

As students prepare for the transition to Highcrest, families are asked to complete the required Parent Input Form.

This form helps provide important family input as planning begins for next year.

Due: April 27 (Optional)

4th Grade Farewell T-Shirts

One of our most cherished traditions is gifting each student a 4th Grade Farewell T-shirt. These shirts include the first names of all students on the back and will be worn during the Musical Performance and Farewell Celebration.

Please submit:

• Your child’s t-shirt size
• Confirm or edit your child’s first name as it should appear

There is no cost for this shirt. Every student will receive one.

Due: May 1

4th Grade Video Montage

A favorite farewell tradition is our annual video montage, shown the morning of the celebration.

Please upload 5 to 10 photos of your child including:

• Baby photo
• Kindergarten or early elementary photo
• Sports or activity photos
• A photo doing something they love
• A recent photo

If your child attended another school before Romona, feel free to include earlier school portraits as well.

Bike to Highcrest

The annual 4th Grade Bike to Highcrest is a special District 39 event where 4th grade students are invited to ride their bikes or scooters to Highcrest.

Thursday, May 14, 2026

• Check in after dismissal on the Romona blacktop
• Depart 3:40 to 3:45 PM
• Arrive 3:50 to 4:00 PM
• Return 4:15 to 4:30 PM

All riders must wear helmets.

Get ready for Highcrest and show your school spirit with official Highcrest apparel and gear.
