Welcome to the The Romona Family Fun Run 2nd Annual 1K Race
Dear parents,
In the spirit of healthy living and an active lifestyle, the Romona PTA would like to welcome you to the 2nd Annual Romona 1K Family Fun Run. This run/walk will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Romona. If you were not able to attend the race last year we hope you can make it this year! The runners had so much fun and felt a strong sense of accomplishment as they crossed the finish line!
Check-In and T-Shirt Pick-up will be from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Race will begin promptly at 1:30 pm. Registration and T-Shirt orders are available below. Please keep in mind, T-Shirt orders will need to be in no later than May 10th.
Please remember, this is not a “Drop Off” event, but rather an event we encourage students to enjoy with one or more family members. All family members are invited to run or walk with your students, but also have the option to run separately. We will begin with an adult race and end with the student’s race, separated by grade. If you have more than one child, we encourage you to run/walk along side your youngest child as they are the ones who will need the most support.
